Wynn Hotel Las Vegas, North Strip
71Wynn Hotel Las Vegas
Wynn Las Vegas is Steve Wynn’s $3-billion homage to abundance. The hotel is beautiful, its rooms are large and classy with oomphy beds, flat-screen TVs, deep soaking tubs, and Warhol silk screens. Wynn Hotel also has an awesome collection of restaurants.
The building is put together old-school style and you have to navigate through the casino labyrinth to get to your destination. The reception area is a bit small-ish for this huge facility.
The famed 150-foot tall artificial mountain can be only partially viewed from inside the Wynn building, and the glitzy free show displayed there is only viewable from an elevated platform that can accommodate about a dozen or so people or from a pricey bar or restaurant. It all seems to cost a lot without offering pleasurable surprises.
The theme is "posh resort." Wynn Hotel Las Vegas does not pay much attention to guests on an individual level. Personal service is hard to pull off due to the enormity of the place (nearly 4,000 rooms). However, if this review gave you the impression that Wynn is not a terrific and livable place, then I did a bad job here. You'd stay here in an instant! It's just that in the end, it’s still just another flashy Vegas hotel, with a nightly price to show for it.
